We'll this is interesting... from our coverage on yesterdays Knight Imports Blind Auction 'Tamworth (Worth More Than You Think!)', where our reporter David and I bumped into two protestors who arrived on push bikes after doing some "hood ass rat shit" (for legal reasons, this is a joke), Link Jordins and Damien Daniels. Link in particular was displeased to see the lack of push bikes available at the auctions, you can watch the original interview below;
It appears that the fine people of Knight Imports not only saw our last article, they also have a sense of humour and publicly addressed the lack of push bikes on offer after Link and Damien's actions, by auctioning off a blue BMX bike.
Upon hearing the news Link Jordins shared the following comment;
"I JUST WANT THESE MO FUCKAS TO THROW THEY MONEY AT WHAT MATTERS FOR THE CULTURE OF THE STATE. WHOLE LOTTA HEADS AT A CAR AUCTION AND ENERGY FOCUSED ON THAT, KEEP THAT SAME ENERGY FOCUSED ON MAKING THE CULTURE AROUND THE STATE BETTER. THAT'S ALL." - Link Jordins
The BMX worth $150 at Handlebar Haven was sold for $60, giving a huge 60% off for the lucky new owner.
Later a $700 racing bicycle was sold for $10, giving an astronomical 98.57% off, a Knight Imports employee claimed it was the largest discount that the company had ever and probably will ever give.
