Gov Lilegard-Marino's First Month

Quinn Lilegard-Marino's been in post as our 9th Gov for roughly a month, after ascending to the position from her previous role as Lt Gov. The reason for this change in leadership was due to the 8th Gov Ella Bright-Starr's resignation, after a lengthy court case where she was found guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and sentenced to 30 months and a fine of $2500. For more info on that whole fiasco, check out Becks Lawson's article over at Shout News 'Governor Bright-Starr Resigns After Being Found Guilty; Legislature Moves To Impeach'.

Harry Kennedy, also of Shout News conducted a 'Politipoll' around the two week mark of her term as Gov and people didn't seem impressed, with her approval rating sitting at an alarming 19.1%.

Here at Useless News we feel it's important to get involved with the big issues and not leave all the fun to Shout and Weazel, so we'd like your opinion on the following poll below!;

Final Results

We will announce the winner and therefore the 'peoples Governor' in a few days time, once the people have had their chance to vote for their preferred supreme lead... I mean Governor! Also, we'd like to announce our Useless News State Rep of the Month competition, pick your favourite, most recognisable, best dressed or least hated (just pick the one you like the most for whatever reason) and we'll give them a shiny plaque (when we get round to it!);
