New State Public Defender!

With the departure of Raphael Messi stepping down as State Public Defender from the 5th of December, our Brovenor Jeremey Barbant and his executive team have been hard at work looking for his replacement! After much careful consideration and a lengthy search to find the right candidate, Secretary of State Winifred Baker announced in a Government Statement that they have nominated Kathleen Montoya the current Assistant State Public Defender. I guess you could say, the apprentice has become the master!

"We the Executive have the upmost confidence in Mrs. Montoya, and are excited to see that achievements that will come once she has been voted in by the Legislators. There is no one I trust more to run the Public Defenders Office in a efficient and respectable manner that it is currently seen as. We wish the best of luck to Kathleen, and look forward to working with her." - Brovenor Jeremy Barbant

With this nomination, the Public Defenders Office should continue to run at top form under 'new' leadership, will Kathleen differentiate herself from her pervious boss or will she stick to the status quo and keep calm and carry on? Checkout her interview below;
